Prince Amukamara will not find sympathy from New York Jets linebacker Bart Scott.
Scott said he "heard about" the now infamous video of the New York Giants cornerback being thrown in a cold tub by Jason Pierre-Paul, but he's not ready to engage in discourse about the effects of bullying in the modern workplace.
Jones: Taking a bath in New York
The Giants are taking heat for a cold-tub prank that went viral, but Kimberly Jones says this could galvanize the team. **More ...**
"At the end of the day, Prince Amukamara is still a rookie after four games," Scott told WEPN-FM in New York (via SportsRadioInterviews.com). "This morning he should have brought the donuts. Come on man."
Scott is using some fuzzy math on Amukamara, who actually appeared in nine games for the Giants last season despite suffering a broken foot in training camp.
Echoing Tom Coughlin's comments, Scott said the video should've never gone public.
"That's in the room, locker room stuff," Scott said. "Stuff that goes on within sports. Certain things other people can’t understand. You can't try to explain it because you just sound stupid trying to explain it."
Scott went on to tell the story how Jets teammates recently "cut a B+ in a dude's head" because they thought the player was "retarded" for believing he was performing a B+ level.
He's right about the explaining thing.
