Joique Bell has found a new home in the NFC North.
The former Detroit running back has agreed to terms with Chicago, Bell announced Tuesday on Twitter.
Bell, 30, was released by the Lions in February after averaging an inefficient 3.5 yards per on 90 carries last season.
Although Bell lost a step following a trio of 2015 surgeries, he did manage a career-high 13.0 yards per reception on 22 catches.
With starter Jeremy Langfordsidelined by a sprained ankle and Ka'Deem Carey nursing a hamstring injury, Bell was likely signed to handle passing-down duties alongside bruising rookie Jordan Howard.
If Bell acclimates quickly to Dowell Loggains' offense this week, he could be in line for a significant role against his former team on Sunday.
