CINCINNATI (AP) - The Bengals took Georgia tight end Orson Charles in the fourth round of the draft, giving themselves a complement to Jermaine Gresham at the position.
The Bengals took Gresham with their first-round pick in 2010. They've had several backups at the spot in the last two years. Charles is known for his strength and his blocking.
Charles is the third offensive player the Bengals have chosen in three days of the draft. They took Wisconsin guard Kevin Zeitler in the first round and Rutgers receiver Mohamed Sanu in the third.
