Here comes the hard part for Mario Williams: Stopping Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.
When the Billssigned the star linebacker to a six-year, $96 million deal -- the biggest contract for a defender in NFL history -- the thought was that Williams would put and end to annual beatings at the hands of the Patriots and their all-too-perfect signal-caller.
Williams got the message loud and clear, wasting little time in firing the first shot at Brady.
Taking his "Super Mario" moniker to heart, Williams updated his Twitter avatar (which we doubt he created himself) to play the lead in a doctored scene from Nintendo's age-old gaming gem, "Super Mario Bros."
Take a look at Williams, donning red overalls and cap, unloading a fireball at a Goomba dressed in No. 12.
Above, a highly disturbing magical winged Buffalo covers threats from the air. Below, the #BILLSMAFIA tag reminds us this isn't a child's game anymore for the Buffalo faithful, left at the alter one too many times.
Heady material, but Williams continues to deal with the problems of normal men:
"Drove to target and left my wallet at home #smh," Williams tweeted.
Still human. For now.
