It's time for another round of bold predictions from the Around The NFL team. Remember, these predictions are not for the faint of heart.
Sam Bradford is benched for Mark Sanchez in Eagles' loss
Yes, Bradford was the victim of a couple of costly drops from Ryan Mathews and Darren Sproles last week. But he's also missing too many throws and taking zero chances down the field. Sanchez ran Chip Kelly's offense at a much higher level last year than Bradford has run it in three starts this year. If Bradford can't jumpstart the offense in Washington, it will be time to turn to Sanchez for a spark. October is the time for wins. March is the time to worry about the future. -- Chris Wesseling
Brandon Weeden throws four touchdowns passes
Brandon Weeden has never thrown for more than two touchdowns in a game. His specialty lies elsewhere in the realm of mind-bending interceptions and head-scratching lobs. The player we saw last week against the Falcons, though, was more organized, finishing 22 of 26 with just one turnover. Weeden remains an aging project, but he'll feast against New Orleans, a winless team with one of the worst secondary units league-wide. Weeden bashers will need to wait another week to take aim at Big D's red-haired wonder. -- Marc Sessler
Larry Donnell has five-catch day vs. Bills
Giants tight end Larry Donnell will catch five passes against the Bills on Sunday for 58 yards. Eli Manning will be looking for respite against the mad rush of a Rex Ryan defense, which means he'll likely turn to intermediate routes to save himself from damaging sacks and to keep the ball moving. Donnell has 10 receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown on the season so far. A converted college quarterback, Donnell has shifted nicely into a tight end role at the NFL level. Look for backup right end Daniel Fells to also supplement Manning in the passing game. -- Conor Orr
Andy Dalton lights up Chiefs
The apocalypse is upon us. After Andy Dalton throws for 320 yards and four touchdowns against the Chiefs on Sunday, buzz will commence positing Dalton -- he of the 0-4 playoff record and suspect motivational capabilities -- as an MVP contender at the season's quarter pole. Even crazier, it will be difficult to deny the case, with Dalton now a monster statistical producer on an undefeated AFC favorite. Are you ready to live in a reality where Dalton is viewed as one of the best football players on the planet? Are you? I didn't think so. -- Dan Hanzus
Vikings defense sacks Peyton Manning eight times
Peyton Manning has been sacked eight times in three games this season, tied for 25th in the NFL. Get ready for that number to double. The Minnesota Vikings defensive front, led by Everson Griffen is studly, and Mike Zimmer has proven he will not shy away from bringing the blitz time and time and time again. The Broncos offensive line is the worst unit on the squad. The Vikings won't let Manning sit back and pick apart their secondary, especially if Xavier Rhodes (concussion) can't play. Minnesota will wrangle Manning eight times on Sunday and several of those sack will be the patented Peyton-turtle. -- Kevin Patra
The Rams will give Arizona its first loss
The St. Louis offense is still trying to find its way, but the defense has looked as good as advertised. The Cardinals, meanwhile, might not know what to do without an avalanche of early special teams and defensive touchdowns. After facing three of the the worst defenses in the league, the Cardinals offensive line has a much tougher matchup against St. Louis' front. The Rams are simply a better team in the division, as they showed against Seattle in the season opener. --Gregg Rosenthal
