Braxton Miller seems likely to start for Ohio State on Saturday

In his weekly Monday news conference, Ohio State coach Urban Meyer said he is 90 percent confident quarterback Braxton Miller will play Saturday against Wisconsin and expects it to be 100 percent by kickoff.

Meyer said Miller, who has missed all of the past two games and almost all of Game 2 with a knee injury, practiced Sunday. "I know Braxton, if he has a good week of practice, is going to start," Meyer said.

Things we learned in Week 4

From Stanford learning a lesson against ASU to Baylor's offensive onslaught, here are 42 things we learned in Week 4 in college football. **More ...**

Last week, before the Buckeyes (4-0) played overmatched FCS foe Florida A&M, Meyer said he thought Miller would play. He did not, with Meyer saying after the game that Miller made the decision not to play. Monday, Meyer said Miller not playing was a group decision between coaches, Miller and the strength staff.

Miller spent part of Saturday's game wearing coaching headphones on the sideline. Once the game got out of hand, he removed them.

Senior Kenny Guiton has started the past two games and would get the start against the Badgers if Miller can't go. Guiton, who had played in 14 games in his career entering this season, has thrown 13 TD passes and also run for 186 yards and a score this season. He came on early in Game 2 against San Diego State after Miller injured his knee.

"I am very comfortable with both quarterbacks," Meyer said Monday.

Meyer said Guiton has proved he can win a game; that is something Meyer wasn't sure of a few weeks ago.
