NEW ORLEANS -- Drew Brees has become the New Orleans Saints' career completions leader, eclipsing a mark held by Archie Manning since 1982.
Manning had 1,849 completions in his 12 seasons with the Saints, one of which he missed with an injury. Brees surpassed Manning's mark with a 5-yard completion to Lance Moore in the second quarter of the Saints' game against the Seattle Seahawks.
One play later, Brees hit Marques Colston for the second touchdown the pair had combined for in the game, giving the Saints a 27-13 lead.
