Brendon Ayenbadejo believes he was traded because he took leave

• In light of New York Mets second baseman Daniel Murphy receiving grief for taking MLB paternity leave, former NFL linebacker Brendon Ayenbadejo wrote for Fox Sports that he believes his paternity leave 10 years ago caused coach Nick Saban to trade him from the Miami Dolphins to the Baltimore Ravens.

• The Tulsa World reported a bill passed the Oklahoma Senate that would give responsibilities to coaches, athletic trainers and referees to pull a student athlete who shows signs of a concussion. It is now headed for a House vote after making it out of committee.
