The Broncos announced Friday that tight end Richard Quinn is no longer on the roster.
Denver reached an injury settlement with its 2009 second-round pick and released him from injured reserve, *The Denver Post* reported Friday.
Quinn suffered a knee injury early in training camp. He cleared waivers last week and was subsequently placed on IR.
Quinn appeared in four games with the team, logging one catch for nine yards. Playing behind Daniel Graham for two years, Quinn never emerged as the blocker or receiver the team hoped he would be.
