BEREA, Ohio -- Cleveland Browns rookie running back Montario Hardesty practiced Thursday for the first time since injuring his right knee during a pre-training camp workout.
Hardesty sustained a bone bruise to his knee during a 1-on-1 tackling drill before Cleveland's veterans reported to camp. Hardesty said he hurt his leg while making a cut.
The Browns traded three picks to the Philadelphia Eagles to move up in April's draft and select Hardesty in the second round (No. 59 overall). Hardesty rushed for 1,345 yards last season at the University of Tennessee.
