The Cleveland Browns jettisoned an offensive lineman in the middle of minicamp.
The team announced it waived Desmond Harrison on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old 2018 undrafted free agent started the first eight games at left tackle last season before being replaced by Greg Robinson.
NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported that Harrison missed minicamp practices.
A young player with upside, but one who struggled some under fire as an untested rookie, will now hit the waiver wire in a league constantly looking for tackle help and depth.
