Cleveland Browns defensive back Gerard Lawson pleaded no contest to driving under the influence in Cleveland Municipal Court on Tuesday, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported.
Three other charges against Lawson stemming from the Aug. 6 hit-and-run accident were dropped.
The third-year pro was sentenced to one year of probation, 72 hours of an alternative jail program and 20 hours of community service.
