TAMPA, Fla. -- Buccaneers general manager Mark Dominik said Tuesday that the team doesn't plan to pursue former New York Giants running back Tiki Barber.
"No," Dominik said simply, shaking his head, when asked the question.
Barber, 36, is attempting a comeback after retiring in 2006, and he has said that he would like to play with Tampa Bay. Doing so would reunite him with his twin brother, Ronde Barber, the Bucs' starting cornerback.
Though the Bucs lost backup tailback Cadillac Williams in free agency, they believe they have a deep stable of ball carriers with starter LeGarrette Blount, backups Kregg Lumpkin and Allen Bradford and fullback Earnest Graham.
