TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Arizona Cardinals signed Matt Stewart, a free-agent linebacker who missed last season because of a shoulder injury, to a one-year contract Thursday. Financial terms weren't disclosed.
Stewart spent the last three years with the Cleveland Browns after four seasons with the Atlanta Falcons. He has appeared in 93 games, 61 as a starter, with 355 tackles, 197 solos. He has eight sacks, an interception and fumble recoveries.
