The widely held belief is that the Oakland Raiders will give quarterback Carson Palmer a choice: take a pay cut or get cut.
Palmer told Comcast SportsNet Bay Area in an email exchange Tuesday that he hasn't heard anything about his future with the Raiders.

"Not sure what's going to happen," Palmer wrote. "Would love to be back in Oakland and compete."
Palmer's $13 million contract is not correlative with his on-field production. While some believe he is the best option given the Raiders' personnel, the team will benefit from an open competition. Whether or not coach Dennis Allen is ready to finally give Terrelle Pryor a chance at the full-time gig remains to be seen.
