INDIANAPOLIS -- Colts owner Jim Irsay said Saturday's playoff game against the New York Jets is sold out.
Irsay told The Associated Press in an interview that the team sold its remaining tickets Wednesday.
The Colts had about 5,000 tickets available Monday. By Tuesday, the number had dropped to about 3,500, and the rest were sold Wednesday. So Indianapolis fans will not have to contend with a television blackout.
Potential blackouts haven't been much of an issue for Colts fans recently. On its website, the team even explains how to join the season-ticket waiting list.
But because the Colts didn't clinch their playoff spot until Sunday, and the playoff game was set for Saturday, the team had to unload the tickets in a hurry.
