The Cowboys' potential path to the Super Bowl got a little easier Thursday night.
Dallas bounced back from a Week 14 loss to the Giants to defeat the Buccaneers on Sunday night, moving to 12-2 on the season. Behind the sensational rookie duo of newly minted Pro Bowlers Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott, the Cowboys would set a franchise regular-season record for wins if they close out with wins over the Lions and Eagles.
As for the Giants, they can still seal up a playoff berth in the days ahead. They can secure a wild-card spot if the Lions, Packers or Buccaneers lose or tie their games this week. The Giants also will clinch if the Falcons lose to the Panthers.
