The Dallas Cowboys have a big decision to make with the fourth-overall pick tonight, and the debate could continue until they're on the clock.
NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Thursday that the team is working scenarios but appear to be debating whether they prefer Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott or Florida State cornerback Jalen Ramsey with their first pick.
Both players would address an area of need for the team. The Dallas backfield currently includes Darren McFadden and Alfred Morris, but Elliott is seen as the most balanced running back in this class who could become an immediate star running behind a talented offensive line.
Ramsey would provide serious relief for an undermanned secondary. Brandon Carr and Morris Claiborne have underperformed and are entering the final years of their contracts, while Orlando Scandrick is coming back from a major knee injury.
