Dallas Cowboys rookie wide receiver Dez Bryant, suffering from a nagging high ankle sprain, will play against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, a league source told NFL Network insider Michael Lombardi.
Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said Thursday he was "worried" Bryant, officially listed as questionable against the Vikings, would sit out after missing most of Thursday's practice. Bryant also missed Friday's practice.
Bryant's availability is a dose of good news for a Cowboys team that's managed a single win in four games and sits dead last in the NFC East.
Bryant, who has 17 receptions for 180 yards and has returned a punt for a touchdown, missed the entire exhibition season after sustaining the ankle injury July 30.
