In his weekly review of calls for the media, NFL vice president of officiating Dean Blandino discussed these plays from Week 11 games:
- The controversy over the final play of last Monday night's game between the New England Patriots and the Carolina Panthers. Blandino said it was not reviewable and defensive holding could not have been called.
- The process of the catch from a play during the Baltimore Ravens-Chicago Bears game.
- Another process of the catch from the Detroit Lions-Pittsburgh Steelers game.
- The use of instant replay in a muffed punt during the Arizona Cardinals-Jacksonville Jaguars game in which a challenged play was erroneously reviewed.
