Ndamukong Suh isn't beyond asking for help.
After seriously considering going without an agent to negotiate his own contract extension with the Detroit Lions, the league's premier defensive tackle has come full circle.
Suh has signed with agent Jimmy Sexton of CAA, Liz Mullen of the SportsBusiness Journal reported Friday.

It's a wise move by Suh, who has a shot at becoming the highest-paid defensive lineman in football. With Lions general manager Martin Mayhew acknowledging last month that he expects to strike an extension with the behemoth at the start of free agency or later this offseason, it makes sense for Suh to surround himself with representation capable of earning him every last penny.
Titans safety Bernard Pollard recently crafted his own low-level, two-year deal with the Tennessee Titans, but Suh's eventual new deal will be a much more complex beast to navigate.
There was a time when players and teams worked out deals over a beer at the corner saloon, but that ship has sailed. Good move by Suh.
