Dion Jordan signs his Miami Dolphins rookie contract

The Miami Dolphins don't have to worry about a Dion Jordan holdout any longer.

The Dolphinsannounced Saturday that they have signed Jordan, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft. The Dolphins now have all nine draft picks under contract with training camp kicking off Saturday.

The sides had been haggling over offset language, which allows teams to recoup money from the player if he's cut. Terms of Jordan's contract weren't disclosed.

Jordan indicated this week he would be at camp when it opened Saturday, but the possibility of a holdout remained. The Dolphins took part in a similar offset-language staring contest with Ryan Tannehill last summer.

When Jordan makes his training-camp debut, it will represent his first action of any kind with the Dolphins. The defensive end missed organized team activities while recovering from shoulder surgery. He also was held back because of Oregon's late graduation date.

UPDATE: NFL.com's Albert Breer reported that Jordan's contract is worth $20,572,298 total over four years, with a signing bonus of $13,341,672 and $5,070,626 in guaranteed roster bonuses. The signing bonus is to be paid over the next four months.
