The contract, which Wake signed Sunday, also includes $15 million in escalators to bring the total to the reported $49 million.
The deal is fully guaranteed for $17 million with $3 million guaranteed for injury only.
The 30-year-old Wake recorded 42 tackles and 8.5 sacks last year.
