The Jaguars have desperately tried to convince teams that they need to trade up to No. 7 in order to get Ryan Tannehill. The Dolphinsreportedly aren't worried.
"The [Dolphins] are willing to take him at No. 8," Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald writes. "They are not going to trade up to get him because they don't strongly believe anyone is going to get ahead of them to pick him."
We don't believe anyone is going to take Tannehill before No. 8 either. Seattle and Kansas City are the only potential teams, but it's doubtful that either team is motivated enough to give up picks when they have decent quarterback options in place. If a team does trade ahead of Miami, it will likely be for defensive talent.
There remains a question whether the Dolphins will even take Tannehill. NFL Network contributor and Fox Sports insider Jay Glazer said Wednesday that it's "50-50" whether Miami would draft Tannehill, depending on who else was on the board.
We'll always remember this as the draft of Ryan Tannehill. Only one more day until all the speculation stops.
