Cleveland Browns wide receiver Dwayne Bowe returned to Kansas City Tuesday to attend a funeral service for Betty Johnson, the ultimate Chiefs fan.
Johnson, a season ticket holder since 1986, rarely missed a game from her front-row seats on the 45-yard line. Well-known by the Chiefs players past and present, she was commonly referred to as "grandma."
Bowe, however, had a unique connection with Johnson. The two would kiss before every home game. Upon hearing about the passing of Johnson, Bowe took a break from Browns voluntary workouts to pay his respects to his dear friend and give her a final kiss.
Following a private memorial service for Johnson, family and friends gathered at Arrowhead Stadium for Betty's last tailgate.
