An MRI exam on Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Trent Cole revealed no structural damage to the Pro Bowler's right ankle, the team announced Saturday, according to NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora.
Cole has a mild ankle sprain and is listed as day to day. He injured the ankle during the second quarter of Philadelphia's 20-17 preseason victory at Kansas City on Friday night.
Cole had 12½ sacks last season and earned his second trip to the Pro Bowl.
