Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg is one name already being mentioned as a possibility to fill the head coaching vacancy at Penn State following the ouster of Joe Paterno.
The job is currently filled on an interim basis by Tom Bradley.
Mornhinweg didn't comment on his status as a potential candidate or the future of his son, Sykler, a quarterback who has orally committed to Penn State, during his weekly news conference on Thursday.
"Really, I think that is the mature way to handle this, so no comment," Mornhinweg told reporters. "There are some things going on that are more important than what we're talking about here."
Mornhinweg was a candidate for several NFL coaching positions last offseason, including Cleveland, Miami and San Francisco.
