As expected, ex-Oakland Raiders cornerback Stanford Routt is meeting with the Cincinnati Bengals, a league source said Friday.
Earlier this week a source said Routt remained in talks with the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills and planned to visit the Bengals on Friday.
Routt became a free agent after he was recently released by the Raiders. Routt was released only one year into a restructured five-year, $54.5 million contract by the Raiders. The Raiders were $8.8 million over the salary cap before the move, according to NFL.com research.
