Add another player to the growing list of free agents who want to join the Peyton Manning-led Broncos, as tight end Joel Dreessen agreed to terms on a deal with Denver, executive vice president of football operations John Elway announced in a team release Friday.
Dreessen has been in the league since 2005, and had been with the Houston Texans for the past five seasons. Dreessen has emerged as a passing threat the past two seasons, totaling 10 touchdowns and close to 900 receiving yards.
In addition to Dreessen, the Broncos recently have landed free-agent wideout Andre Caldwell and cornerback Tracy Porter since Manning signed his five-year deal to play in Denver.
