Fans' billboard calls for Colts QB Manning to play for Dolphins

A group of fans in Florida has put up a billboard in Fort Lauderdale urging the Miami Dolphins and quarterback Peyton Manning to come together, WPLG-TV reported Wednesday.

The billboard features a picture of the longtime Indianapolis Colts quarterback and lists the address of the group's website, ManningToMiami.com. The site allows visitors to "cast their vote" to have Manning join the Dolphins. It also includes altered images of the quarterback in a Dolphins uniform.

The effort is similar to a campaign being mounted by Tennessee Titans fans behind a website called ComeHomePeyton.com. Those fans want to put up billboards and the like in an attempt to convince Manning, who played college football at the University of Tennessee, to play for the Titans.

The Miami Herald reported in January that the Dolphins might be interested in Manning, who missed the 2011 season after undergoing multiple neck surgeries. The Colts and Manning still haven't publicly revealed whether the quarterback will be leaving the team or if he's even definitely healthy enough to play professional football.
