  • David Montgomery is my dude. I know that might seem strange because he no longer plays for my favorite team, the Bears. But my favorite baseball player no longer plays for the team I root for. My favorite all-time NBA player is part of the Commanders ownership group. Why would I let this stop me? That’s not the point here, though. Montgomery is my top runner of the week, with the Lions set to host Chicago on Thanksgiving. Obviously, it’s a REVENGE GAME, but there is more to it. One of the hallmarks of the Matt Eberflus era, despite all its problems, has been a solid defense. However, the Bears are starting to give up more production to opposing offenses, especially on the ground. Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs are going to eat on Thanksgiving. They will also score a ton of fantasy points. By the way, it's great to see Caleb Williams playing better. Between Williams, Bo Nix, Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels, I’m excited for the fantasy production this rookie class will provide. My colleague Kevin Patra recently wrote a great piece about the Offensive and Defensive Rookie of the Year front-runners. I will say, for the record, that Williams will be in that conversation soon. It would help if the Bears won some games.
  • A.J. Brown is poised for a huge game this week against the Ravens. It shouldn’t be a shock to see that prediction. Baltimore allows the most fantasy points per game to wide receivers and Brown has had three games with more than 22 points this year. Among WRs, only Ja’Marr Chase has more such games.
  • Joe Mixon has seven games with at least 16 fantasy points this season. That’s tied for the second-most such games in the NFL this season. He’s also had six games with at least 100 rushing yards, which ranks second in the league behind Saquon Barkley.
  • Kyren Williams got into the end zone in Week 12 after going three straight weeks without a TD, but he’s scored fewer than 12 fantasy points in four straight games.
  • Isiah Pacheco could return from injury this week, and he couldn’t ask for a much better matchup than the Raiders. He has four touchdowns in three career starts against Las Vegas.
  • Tyrone Tracy Jr. didn’t have the game we were hoping for in Week 12, but he’s still posted 100-plus scrimmage yards and 14-plus fantasy points in four of his last seven games. I’m expecting a bounce-back performance for him this week against the Cowboys. We might be in trouble if he struggles again.
  • Rhamondre Stevenson has scored at least 12 fantasy points in three of his last five games and he has a favorable matchup this week against the Colts, who have allowed the fifth-most FPPG to running backs this season.
  • The Steelers' wide receivers are starting to get a little troublesome for fantasy managers. I mean, I love George Pickens, but he’s been held to less than 12 points in three of his last six games. You start Pickens, and then you end up watching Calvin Austin III score all the fantasy points. He’s had at least 16 points in two of his last four games. Pickens has eight or more targets in just two of Russell Wilson’s five starts with Pittsburgh.

  • D’Andre Swift is a tough start this week against a stout Lions defense. But I love what Bears offensive coordinator Thomas Brown said last week, telling reporters he wasn’t going to coach scared against Vikings DC Brian Flores.
  • It’s hard to know what to expect from Packers receivers each week. Christian Watson has four or fewer receptions in all 10 games he’s played in this season. He’s scored more than nine points only once in his last five games. So, that means he’s going to score 25 points this week, yeah?

  • Has anybody noticed that Nick Westbrook-Ikhine has scored a touchdown in six of his last seven games? You’re probably thinking that he’s a touchdown-dependent option. And he is. However, he’s had at least five targets in three of his last four games. He’s a legit sleeper option for those of you desperate for help at receiver.
