Cornerback Brandon Flowers is listed as questionable for the Kansas City Chiefs' game Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, but coach Todd Haley said Friday he is optmistic Flowers will play.
Flowers injured his ankle in last week's 20-17 loss to the San Diego Chargers after intercepting a pass from Philip Rivers. He has not missed practice for the Chiefs this week but has not been a full participant any day either.
“I was encouraged, at least, with him being out there and actually moving around a little bit,” Haley told the Kansas City Star.
Both Flowers and safety Jon McGraw (shin) are listed as game-time decisions.
