Defensive end Alex Brown, who was released by the Bears last week, will arrive in New Orleans on Tuesday night for a scheduled visit with the Saints, NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora reports.
Brown, 30, had spent all eight of his NFL seasons in Chicago after being selected the fourth round of the 2002 draft. He started 107 of 127 games, recording 43.5 sacks, five interceptions and 16 forced fumbles.
The Bears parted ways with Brown after reportedly shopping him without success.
