Former St. Louis Rams great Holt joins NFL Network

Seven-Time Pro Bowl wide receiver and Super Bowl winner joins NFL Network as analyst for "NFL Total Access"

Former St. Louis RamsPro Bowl wide receiver Torry Holt joins NFL Network and will make his debut as an analyst on Tuesday, Dec. 28, it was announced Monday by Eric Weinberger, executive producer of NFL Network.

Holt, a seven-time Pro Bowl selection and Super Bowl XXXIV champion, will serve as a studio analyst on "NFL Total Access" and other NFL Network shows and specials. He will make his debut on the "NFL Total Access: Pro Bowl Selection Show" Tuesday, Dec. 28 at 7 p.m. ET.

As the sixth overall pick in the 1999 NFL Draft of the St. Louis Rams, Holt spent 10 of his 11 years playing with the Rams. In his rookie year, Holt was an integral part of the Rams' Super Bowl XXXIV winning team, setting the rookie record for receptions (7) and receiving yards (109) in a Super Bowl.

"Torry had an outstanding playing career and he is another Pro Bowl and Super Bowl winning analyst that we are adding to our team," said Weinberger.

He is the fourth member of the Rams "Greatest Show on Turf" offense who is now an NFL Network analyst joining Marshall Faulk, Kurt Warner and Trent Green. Holt has previously appeared on NFL Network as a guest analyst.

Holt finished his eleven-year playing career as one of the great wide receivers of all-time, ranking 10th on the all-time receiving yards list with 13,382 career yards, including eight consecutive seasons with at least 1,000 yards receiving (2000-2007). Additionally, Holt finished with 920 career receptions and 74 career touchdowns.

A native of Gibsonville, NC, Holt attended North Carolina State University, where he played wide receiver from 1995-1998. During his senior year, Holt had 88 receptions (then an ACC record) and set a school record with 16 receiving touchdowns on the way to a First-team All-America selection.
