Frazier said to be sticking with McNabb as Vikings QB

The 0-4 Minnesota Vikings do not expect to make a quarterback change this week, according to sources with knowledge of the situation.

The Vikings have yet to turn to first-round pick Christian Ponder, and coach Leslie Frazier has been a supporter of veteran Donovan McNabb.

Frazier will meet with his staff on Monday and search for ways to help get the team its first win, but he does not anticipate making a quarterback switch at this point, according to sources familiar with his thinking.

Frazier stuck with Brett Favre when he struggled last season and believes in the talent the club has assembled.

In Sunday's loss at Kansas City, McNabb completed 18 of 30 passes for 202 yards, with two touchdowns and one interception. His quarterback rating for the season is 80.9, but the Vikings have struggled to score, particularly in the second half of games.

The Vikings host Arizona on Sunday.
