FSU's Jimbo Fisher will be one of nation's 10 best-paid coaches

Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher agreed to a contract extension before Saturday night's ACC championship game and now will be making $4.1 million per year, the Palm Beach Post reported.

Fisher, in his fourth season as coach, has FSU on track to play in the national championship game. He had been making $2.75 million per season, and his new deal -- which will be between five and seven seasons -- will make him one of the 10 highest-paid coaches in the nation. The Post said the deal officially will be announced early next week.

The Seminoles were 43-10 under Fisher going into the ACC title game.
