The Philadelphia Eagles made a move at quarterback on Thursday, but it wasn't a headline-grabbing deal involving Nick Foles.

Arena Football League quarterback G.J. Kinne tweeted that he was "officially" an Eagle after working out for coach Chip Kelly and Co. on Thursday. Actually, it's not official just yet.
Reuben Frank of Comcast SportsNet Philly pointed out that Kinne must first be formally released by the San Antonio Talons. But Frank confirmed that the Eagles are indeed adding Kinne to their quarterback depth chart.
That gives the Eagles five quarterbacks: Michael Vick, Foles, Dennis Dixon, Trent Edwards and Kinne. It wouldn't be a surprise if Edwards was cut loose. Adding Kinne also gives the Eagles a tad more flexibility. A three-year starter at Tulsa, where current Eagles receiver Damaris Johnson was his No. 1 target, Kinne racked up more than 6,000 yards passing and 1,000 yards rushing. He was with the New York Jets last offseason before getting cut.
If the name sounds familiar, we wrote about Kinne's fascinating backstory last year after the Jets signed him.
