Georgia Southern kicker Younghoe Koo sees your spinning trick field goal, Andy Phillips, and he raises you a backflip.
Just days after Phillips, the kicker at Utah, kicked a football spinning on its end through the uprights prior to a Utes scrimmage, Koo did the same while performing a backflip at the end of the same feat.
Of course, neither a field goal off of a free-spinning football nor a backflip would ever be required in a game, but Koo at least puts a healthy dent into the notion that kickers aren't especially athletic. As for his play when it matters, Koo was primarily the kickoff specialist for the Eagles last season and recorded 24 touchbacks on 71 kickoffs.
