Giants co-owner John Mara said some minor details need to be worked out, but he expects an agreement to be announced shortly.
Mara made his comments Wednesday after a news conference to discuss the Giants' and New York Jets' bid to host the 2014 Super Bowl at their new stadium in the Meadowlands.
The Giants have held training camp at Albany since 1996, but they have discussed the possibility of training at their new facility next to the Meadowlands stadium.
The facility, which the Giants use during the season, has an indoor practice field. The facility in Albany does not.
Mara didn't specify how many years the Giants would commit to holding camp in Albany.
