The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed veteran offensive lineman Max Starks, according to a league source.
Starks, of course, is a familiar face to the Steelers, having spent his entire career there from 2004 to 2010.
The team released Starks in July, but as Pittsburgh's line continues to suffer, Starks' familiarity with the program made him a viable candidate to return.
After Pittsburgh drafted Starks in the third round of the 2004 draft, he made 68 starts for the team in seven seasons, including seven starts in 2010.
