Hillis' status in doubt for Browns' game against Seahawks

BEREA, Ohio -- Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis missed his third practice in a row with a strained hamstring Friday and his status is up in the air for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Coach Pat Shurmur said Hillis, who got hurt in the first half last week against the Oakland Raiders, is continuing to work with trainers.

Browns starting linebacker Scott Fujita will not play Sunday because of a concussion. Shurmur ruled Fujita out for Sunday's game immediately after practice ended Friday.

Fujita, who was injured last week, has been sent home three straight days before practice because he was still bothered by symptoms. The 10-year veteran is second on the team with 26 tackles.

Also, top cornerback Joe Haden practiced for the first time since spraining his left knee in an Oct. 2 game. Haden said afterward his knee is feeling better, but the second-year player isn't certain if he'll face the Seahawks.

"If Joe (can) go, he'll be available the whole game, and we'll play him as much as we need him," Shurmur said.
