An already weak Chicago Bears secondary might have suffered a huge blow.
Safety Antrel Rolle was carted off to the locker room with an ankle injur during the second half of Sunday's 22-20 win over the Oakland Raiders. Rolle told reporters after the game that X-rays on his ankle came back negative and that nothing was broken, per the Chicago Sun-Times.
In addition, Bears center Will Montgomery left in the first half with a left ankle injury and was out for the remainder of the game.
Here's a look at other injuries we're tracking on Sunday:
- Rams linebacker Alec Ogletree was carted off the field during the second half against the Cardinals and was ruled out. Coach Jeff Fisher confirmed to reporters that Ogletree requires ankle surgery. He could be added to the IR boomerang list and probably lost for the season.
The injury bug hit the Cowboys again to start the second half. Promising running Lance Dunbar went down with a nasty looking knee injury after returning the opening kick and was quickly ruled out. NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported early Monday morning that the Cowboys are fearful Dunbar tore both his ACL and MCL on the play. He'll have an MRI later on Monday, Rapoport reports.
- Houston Texans wideout Nate Washington suffered a hamstring injury during the first half of the team's 48-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. He was out for the remainder of the game. Teammate Quintin Demps suffered a hamstring injury.
- Indianapolis Colts linebacker Jerrell Freeman left with a groin injury and didn't return.
- Eagles cornerback Byron Maxwell (quad), linebacker Mychal Kendricks (hamstring), defensive end Brandon Bair (groin) and tackle Jason Peters (right quad) each left Sunday's loss to the Redskins and didn't return.
- Miami cornerback Brent Grimes left in the first half after suffering a knee injury in Sunday's loss to the Jets. Linebacker Jelani Jenkins (stinger) did not return.
- Falcons linebacker Justin Durant (elbow) was ruled out against the Texans.
- Bills safety Corey Graham walked off the field under his own power with trainers just after the start of the second half against the Giants.
- Bengals cornerback Adam Jones suffered a groin injury against the Chiefs and didn't return.
- Raiders cornerback T.J. Carrie suffered a chest injury in the team's loss to the Bears and did not return.
- Jaguars linebacker Paul Posluszny had an ankle injury in a 16-13 overtime loss to the Colts.
- The Chargers announced that wideout Malcom Floyd has a concussion and did not return to the game against the Browns. Also, wide receiver Stevie Johnson suffered a hamstring injury.
- Browns safety Tashaun Gipson (ankle) did not return against the Chargers.
