Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett (thigh) is expected to play versus the Denver Broncos, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per a source.
Lockett, who led the team with 122 targets and 79 receptions in 2023, was a limited participant in practice to begin the week. He turned into a full participant in Friday's practice, earning the questionable injury designation heading into Sunday's season opener.
Tight end Pharaoh Brown and linebacker Uchenna Nwosu were ruled out for Week 1.
Seattle will have a new head coach on the sideline with Mike Macdonald taking over for Pete Carroll. Lockett is expected to suit up and play in front of The 12s against Denver.
The Broncos and Seahawks kick off at 4:05 p.m. ET.

- Chicago Bears wide receiver Keenan Allen (heel) and defensive end Montez Sweat (toe) are expected to play in Sunday's game versus the Titans, Rapoport reported.
- Detroit Lions defensive end D.J. Reader (quad) is not expected to play versus the Rams on Sunday night after being limited in practice this week, Rapoport reported.
- Miami Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey (hamstring) will attempt to play in Sunday's game versus the Jaguars, Rapoport reported. If Ramsey plays, he will likely be on a pitch count, Rapoport added.
- Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson (calf) is expected to be examined for his injury by the team before Sunday's game in Atlanta, NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo and Rapoport reported. It's more likely that quarterback Justin Fields starts versus the Atlanta Falcons, Garafolo and Rapoport added.
