» Chiefs coach Todd Haley and Matt Cassel were tight-lipped about the injuries that forced the QB out late against the Broncos. The Kansas City Star reported Cassel left the stadium with a cast on his right hand. ... Chiefs DE Glenn Dorsey also left late in the game with an undisclosed injury, according to The Associated Press.
» Already playing without WR DeSean Jackson, the Eagles lost WR Jeremy Maclin against the Cardinals. Maclin left on two different occasions with a shoulder injury and a hamstring strain and didn't finish the game, according to the team. ... Cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie sustained an ankle sprain and was taken for X-rays.
» Bengals CB Leon Hall was sidelined by an Achilles injury, and NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reports it's a season-ending tear. Hall was on crutches after the game, according to a report. ... Bengals coach Marvin Lewis doesn't believe the right knee injury that sidelined WR A.J. Green is serious, saying the rookie "will be fine."
» Lions QB Matthew Stafford confirmed during his postgame news conference he played through a fractured right index finger. "It's not bad," Stafford said. Stafford added that he wore a glove on his throwing hand for no other reason than added grip.
» The Broncos were able to pull out a win in Kansas City despite losing RBs Willis McGahee (left hamstring) and Knowshon Moreno (sprained knee) early. Broncos coach John Fox didn't know if either player would be able to return on Thursday night against the Jets in a quick turnaround.
» Another setback for Falcons WR Julio Jones, who couldn't finish the game against the Saints after aggravating his left hamstring injury, reported NFL Network's Albert Breer.
» Jaguars CB Rashean Mathis didn't return after suffering a left knee injury during the second quarter against the Colts. Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio said Mathis will have an MRI exam, but that "it wasn't good because he wasn't able to return."
» The Rams were beset by injuries against the Browns. Coach Steve Spagnuolo said CB Al Harris (right knee) and TE Michael Hoomanawanui (right knee) suffered "significant" injuries and will undergo MRI exams on Monday. The Rams also lost RB Cadillac Williams (strained calf), LT Rodger Saffold (head) and SS Darian Stewart (neck).
» Bills starting safety George Wilson sustained a stinger against the Cowboys, while center Eric Wood and backup LB Chris White didn't return after knee injuries. Bills coach Chan Gailey said he doubted Wood could play next week, according to The AP.
» Buccaneers backup DE George Johnson was carted off the field with a knee injury during the fourth quarter.
» Good news for Texans TE Owen Daniels, who returned against the Bucs after hyperextending his knee.
» The Redskins lost WR Leonard Hankerson (strained hip) and DL Kedric Golston (knee) during the second half against the Dolphins, per The AP.

» 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh said RB Frank Gore, who returned briefly against the Giants after it was announced he had a knee injury, would play next week. Gore told Comcast SportsNet Bay Area he was held out as a precaution during the second half and could have played.
» Bears coach Lovie Smith confirmed starting left guard Chris Williamsunderwent surgery Sunday night after suffering a wrist injury and will be "out for awhile." The Bears held out WR Devin Hester during the second half against the Lionsbecause of an illness.
» The Seahawks were another team hit hard by injuries. Coach Pete Carroll said WR Sidney Rice, WR Doug Baldwin and SS Cam Chancellor all sustained concussions, and rookie RG John Moffitt will have an MRI exam on his injured knee. Safety Atari Bigby (hamstring) and DL Anthony Hargrove (hamstring) were also sidelined.
» Giants coach Tom Coughlin didn't have an update on LB Michael Boley, who was sidelined by a hamstring injury.
» New England Patriots CB Devin McCourty suffered a separated right shoulder in a collision with teammate Sterling Moore Sunday night against the Jets, reported WBZ Boston. And Jets running back LaDainian Tomlinson left the game with an injured left leg which was tightly wrapped in the locker room. He said he would have "some tests" on Monday.
