Jaguars trading DL Roy Robertson-Harris to Seahawks for 2026 sixth-round pick

The 2024 campaign has its first in-season trade.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are trading defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round pick, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo reported Monday, per sources. Jacksonville and Seattle later announced the transaction.

Robertson-Harris was in London with the Jaguars when he got the news and will board a flight to his new team in Seattle, per Pelissero. He notched one sack in his final game as a Jaguar in Sunday's loss to the Bears.

Seattle has struggled defensively the last three games, particularly defending the run. The unit ranks 27th in the NFL, allowing 144.7 rushing yards per game and adding Robertson-Harris is an effort to improve and bolster a defensive line that features Leonard Williams and standout rookie Byron Murphy II, though both have been dealing with injuries.

The Seahawks (3-3) will look to end a three-game skid Sunday in a road matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.
