Now that the Dolphins are poised to reel in free agency's biggest catch in Ndamukong Suh, fellow defensive tackle Jared Odrick is leaving Miami.
Odrick has agreed to join the Jacksonville Jaguars on a deal expected to be worth $7 million per season, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday, via a source informed of the deal.
No. 14 on Around The NFL's list of the top 101 free agents, Odrick was believed to be drawing interest from the Raiders, Broncos and Lions, per the South Florida Sun Sentinel.
The Jaguars are getting a quality starter with demonstrated leadership skills, coming off the best season of his career.
While Odrick showed the ability to push the pocket last year, this signing does not solve Jacksonville's need for a ferocious edge rusher, which should be high on the list of targets with the No. 3 overall draft pick.
