The New York Jets have named Scott Cohen as assistant general manager, Joey Clinkscales as vice president of college scouting, Terry Bradway as senior personnel executive, and Michael Davis as assistant director of college scouting. The team has also signed JoJo Wooden to a contract extension to remain as the team's assistant director of player personnel. The announcements were made by Jets' President Jay Cross and General Manager Mike Tannenbaum.
Cohen joins the Jets after serving seven seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles as the director of player personnel. He will assist Tannenbaum with the day-to-day operations of the team with a primary focus on pro personnel. While with the Eagles, he worked closely with the general manager in assessing NFL rosters for acquiring players via trade and as free agents.
Clinkscales enters his 14th season with the Jets after spending the previous two seasons as director of college scouting. He will continue to oversee the college scouting operation.
Bradway enters his eighth season with the Jets and will assist in all areas of player personnel with a particular focus on the college draft. Bradway served as the club's general manager and executive vice president from 2001-05 and was named the director of player personnel in 2006.
Wooden enters his 12th season with the team and will embark on his third year as the team's assistant director of player personnel. He will continue to assist in pro scouting, the advance scouting of upcoming opponents, free agency and NFL Europe.
Davis enters his 12th season with the Jets after spending the past 11 seasons as a national scout. He will assist Clinkscales in coordinating the efforts of the college scouting department.
