FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) - The New York Jets looked to Baylor on back-to-back picks, taking guard Robert T. Griffin moments after selecting Bears teammate Terrance Ganaway in the sixth round.
Griffin, listed at 6-foot-6 and 330 pounds, was a first-team All-Big 12 selection as a senior after making 12 starts at right guard. He also started at right tackle as a junior, helping protect quarterback Robert Griffin III - the No. 2 overall pick who is of no relation.
The Jets drafted Ganaway with the 202nd pick Saturday to add depth to their backfield, and then went back to Baylor to take Griffin at No. 203. New York also has two seventh-round picks remaining.
