Jimmy Graham: Blowout win a huge confidence builder

The New Orleans Saints' blowout win Sunday night marked the first victory for an NFC South team since Oct. 5.

The Saints sit at 3-4, but with a win over the Carolina Panthers on *Thursday Night Football*, Drew Brees and Co. will be in first place in the division.

Following the 44-23 offensive explosion over the Green Bay Packers, Saints tight end Jimmy Graham told NFL Media's Omar Ruiz it's important for the offense to keep rolling.

"It's a huge confidence builder and really it shows us really what we need to do," Graham said. "I talked to Drew earlier in the week, you know, we need to really focus on our tempo, our tempo has got to be, personnel in and to the ball and snap it. Because when our tempo is at a pace where the defense is running around it just changes games and makes this a special offense."

With a visibly healthier Graham -- who has been dealing with a shoulder injury -- the Saints offense got rolling in the second half. Brees also finally hit on some of his deep balls Sunday night, a noticeably lacking element thus far this season.

With a bulldozing Mark Ingram, a healthier Graham and rookie Brandin Cooks flashing his potential, the Saints' offense could steamroll a weak division.

Fortunately for New Orleans, their early season struggles might not hinder their playoff chances. Sitting in a division with just three combined wins in the entire month of October (prior to Thursday's game) will do that.
