The 2013 NFL season started much like the 2012 season ended: With the Baltimore Ravens' offensive line flawlessly protecting Joe Flacco.
Flacco moved the Ravens down the field Thursday night on a 80-yard drive capped by a 2-yard touchdown pass to Vonta Leach for an early seven-point lead over the Broncos. Denver immediately missed Von Miller and Elvis Dumervil, with the team's lack of a pass rush showing up all drive.
Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith made two great catches, including a third-down grab in which he ran over Tony Carter for a first down. This post is a long way of saying: Damn, it's good to have football back.
